30 Days Wild – Day 1

After missing out on it last year, due to moving, I wanted to make sure that this year was different… that we made time for our “Random acts of wildness” this year with the Wildlife Trusts’ “30 day’s wild”.

We are a family that do well outdoors, in nature. We go a bit mad all cooped up… so it’s perfect for getting some kind of balance back in our life following the upheavals that have fallen on us due to life + house move + general commitments + physcial and mental health.

So we put up our planner above the dining table this morning and set ourselves about making sure we are reminded each day.

Today, as Bruce finishes work an hour early on a Friday, we thought it’d be nice to start off as a family. So when he got home from work, we went for a walk by a river and stopped to look at the ducks and birds as we went…

Just been reading through some of your 30 days wild adventures. I’m doing this with my toddler of 20 months and loving it. It’s lovely to see what others are up to – so thank you for sharing and i will continue to follow and see what else you explore over the next 10 days 🙂

Thanks for your comment, apologies it has taken a while to respond (as you may have seen a lot happened here and I wasn’t really on top of things and I got poorly). I hope you enjoyed 30 Days Wild with your toddler.
